Duo Santoro premiere “Three Songs” in Prelude 21 – Music of the Present

On November 30th, at 3 pm, Duo Santoro premiere the piece Three Songs, for cello duo.  The work has three movements – Ostinato, Modinha-Canon and Macacoari. It is dedicated to Paulo and Ricardo Santoro.

The event was part of the series Prelude 21 – Music of the Present and also include works by other members of the group of composers – Alexandre Schubert, Caio Senna, Jose Orlando Alves, Neder Nassaro and Marcos Lucas.  The duo give homage to composer Sérgio Roberto Oliveira, one of the group’s founders (who has deceased in 2017) with the inclusion of a piece of his own.
